Event Details
We host three conventions each fall. They are each known as NYWC -
National Youth Workers Convention.
In 2009, the Conventions will be
held in Los Angeles, CA; Cincinnati, OH; and Atlanta, GA. We expect
3,000-5,000 attendees at each convention. Each convention offers
general sessions featuring inspiring speakers, unforgettable worship,
comedy, and drama. The delegates will have more than 75 power-packed
seminars to choose from, offering the training they need on the issues
they’re facing. They can also participate in pre-convention Intensive
Learning Labs.
At the convention, there will be an exhibit hall with
nearly 200 exhibitors offering great resources. Nature of audience: Youthworkers
(anyone who works with middle school or high school students). This
includes pastors, directors and volunteer staff. It is made up of a
wide range of ages, backgrounds and denominations.

Youth Specialties
For nearly 40 years Youth Specialties has worked alongside Christian youth workers from just about every denomination and youth-serving organization around the world. Each year we serve more than 100,000 youth workers worldwide through our training seminars and conventions, resources and curriculum, and online content. The scope of the ministry has grown to two national conventions for training youth workers, citywide discipleship events for students, and multiple regional two-day training events for teams.
